Book-signings--a new adventure for me. I love the banner that
Team Oakley made for me--it's my own portable marquee! This
was at Hastings in Lake Havasu, AZ.  Photos by Buck Dopp.
I was interviewed on Blog Radio on
February 15 with Nanci Arvizu and
Page Readers. Nanci's show is from
Scottsdale, AZ. She's read Ask Me No
Questions, and asked me lots of
questions about the writing process and
about the story. The time flew by! We
have so much more to talk about!

There was a small but interesting
group at the CRIT Library on Feb.
23. People were interested in the
issue of domestic violence--how it
happens, what can prevent it, how
do we recover from it. I learned new
things about this topic as well, and I
am so thankful to the people who
came out. That's what these
discussions are all about--learning
and communicating.

Thank you, Amelia!
A special event at which I appeared as Keynote Speaker:
the Parker High School F.C.C.L.A conference. I addressed
the importance of developing public speaking  skills to
group was the Parker shelter, so there was a dual
purpose in my acceptance: not only did I get to talk about
something that I feel is important, but I got to help a
cause that is important to me.
Thank you, Jackie Reaves, for asking me!

Book Discussion Group
This was a fabulous group of women who
asked pertinent and probing questions as
well as added their own comments on the
issue of domestic violence. Some of my
"fan" group from Havasu Writers were
there as well--thank you all so much! I had a
great time.
I was at the Parker public library on March
18 at 1 p.m. for the book discussion group--
it was a great event, with 16 readers
attending. We had a ball discussing Ask Me
No Questions and other writing matters.
Thank you, Jean, for inviting me.
